Well, I removed that Java stuff... And Lo! and behold! It made it all the way throught he night and into the next day, and no crashy!! Ran 20 hours before I chickened out today and rebooted it just before leaving for work (hey, I would rather prolong the testing phase rather than have it freeze on me while at work, with no way to reset it. I need SOMETHING to do at work!!)
Anyhow, it appears (so far) that it's stable once again! I rebooted at about 12:45pm today and will do my best not to reboot it until at least that time tomorrow. If it lasts, YAY! If not.... Grrrrr
