Wow! Only 2 days go by and insiration strikes for yet another tune!

Named it Raindance because of the nifty rainy intro and extro to the song. It kind of has a watery feel to it... I think this one is best classified as Ambient style.

It's been a while, but I've finally spat out a new tune. Originally intended to make a promo for a friend's radio show, and got severely sidetracked..

I was auditioning some of my 18,000+ loops and samples, and one thing led to another. Not sure it's the best thing I've ever made, but I think it does have a cool sound to it. The name was chosen because that's kinda how the song feels -- a nice trance tune, perfect for that codeine high. Given I'm on painkillers so much, that's one thing I do know about! =)

Finally had a chance to make some new music... This is not a remix, it's a wholly new arrangement by yours truly...

Kinda has dark and light overtones interlaced in it... Found a nifty Vader sample and played off that... The end result isn't half bad

OMFG I finally made new music!

Recently started watching House ... everybody kept telling me how great it was, so I finally broke down and started watching it from the beginning...

And I was entranced by the intro music! It SCREAMED for a remix... so here it is.

I call it Vicodin because that seems to be Dr House's painkiller of choice (guys, Vicodin is just Tylenol #3 with a codeine substitute. That's it, nothing special)...

Turns out the ORIGINAL full length song is "Teardrop" by Massive Attack... However, since this was inspired by the elements they used for the intro and extro of House, I felt the naming needed to be related to the show... So there.

So I was sitting on the couch this evening and it suddenly hits me that it's a lot of fun to blow through a straw at the cat. He's just really strange when I do this (learned by accident years ago)...

So I thought I'd take some video of it... It's amusing, anyhow.. 2 minutes long. There's sound, but it's not important...

He didn't quite react the way he usually does (maybe more videos will follow)... Usually he slashes at it then kinda rolls into a ball and writhes around a lot, as though he just doesn't know what to do about this air jet, but it's damn well got him uncomfortable.

Only snag to this fun is, you gotta make sure you have a really long tube... or he'll take your face off...

Well I FINALLY managed to come up with a new tune... something original this time around.. Took a couple hours today just noodling around with various loops and samples till i found a few that just kinda jumped over and tapped me on the head and whispered "use us!"

No, I haven't gone insane... no more than usual anyhow...

Anyhow, this is I think quite a bit different from my past stuff.. Maybe I'm mellowing or something.. it's kind of Ambient Trance (or something). I was kinda stuck for a name for it till I listened to it a few (dozen) times and thought.. "This is kinda liquid sounding......"

And so "Liquid" is born!

OMG WTF!!

Spaced Out with Saturn -- my internet radio show -- is returning to the airwaves!

That's right! Now with even more inanity and stupidity, my radio show has returned!

It will be every weekend, either Saturday or Sunday (days to be decided as I go, for now), but always at the same time: 3pm to 7pm Pacific, 5-9 Central, 6pm to 10pm Eastern. Officially, I am broadcasting on Zoom Radio (click the link!).

This weekend (July 30), I will be broadcasting at the times mentioned above, but a simulcast to both Zoom Radio, and ReactorKore Radio!

(Apologies to those on dial-up, as both stations stream at 128kbit - CD quality, but it's 16KB/second, too fast for dial-ups!)
